“LemonAid” is a short narrative drama about doing your best when you are at your worst. Twenty-one year old Micah has recently dropped out of college to take care of his ailing Mother. To make extra money and cover up his marijuana sales, he has started a Lemonade stand at the end of his parents’ driveway. Across the cul-de-sac is his competition, nine-year-old Lucy. Lucy is not okay with Micah trying to take her sales and she is not afraid to let him know it. The two engage in heated witty banter throughout the summer much to the dismay of Lucy’s Mother who watches things unfold from within the house. They have no choice but to sell on the same turf. However, due to the return of Micah’s intimidating Father and a rivalry with local, smalltime drug kingpin Terrance, Micah and Lucy strike up an unlikely friendship. Just when things start to settle down and all seems well, their lives take an ominous and dangerous turn.
